It’s quite simply the definition of precision and quality – and we aren’t biased! We spoke with Niamh who painted a picture perfect fantasy of what weddings are really like at Annebrook House Hotel.
How long have you been working at the Annebrook House Hotel?
I’ve been working here for two years as the Wedding & Events Coordinator and I love meeting couples and helping to design their special day to make it totally individual and unique.
What sets your wedding venue apart from the rest?
Most definitely the family-run atmosphere! We have carved a renowned reputation throughout the years with couples travelling from all border counties from Longford to Dublin – just to hold their festivities at Annebrook House Hotel. We strive to give couples the best service from beginning to end and it’s a real honor to be recognised throughout the midlands for our attention to detail.
It’s all about the food here at Annebrook, it’s out of this world and wedding parties should look forward to a real treat!! Our Head Chef Paul Phillips is the secret behind the magic! His braised beef daube is top notch, we only use Westmeath beef and try to buy local produce where we can so of course the quality is second to none. All our dishes are prepared on site and served immaculately in a restaurant style. We totally understand that dishes served during the banquet will be the main talking point for weeks to come and I think we nail it every time when it comes to wowing the bridal party and their guests.
What’s the most memorable wedding you have ever had the pleasure of organising?
I’ve been so lucky to be apart of so many great love stories during my two years as Wedding Coordinator. But the one wedding which always stays with me is the a spectacular Maldovian celebration where the bride and groom served up an eight course banquet meal to their guests. It was so unique and out-of-the-ordinary! It was drinks galore as both whiskey and brandy were available at each table and the whole bridal party wore traditional dress. It certainly left a lasting impression!

We are hosting a Wedding Evening on September 25th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to grab your other half and pop down to meet us after work. We really are a hidden gem in the heart of Mullingar town! If you have not visited Annebrook before, you will be surprised to drive through our entrance and stumble across modern elegance with a traditional vintage twist. The newer contemporary building adjoins the Old House which has a classic old world charm. We are also a stone’s throw from Belvedere House Gardens, Lough Owel and Lough Enell. All equally enchanting backdrops for photos before arriving to the homely Annebrook. You will get lost in the beauty of the many parkland walks at Belvedere House. A gorgeous Georgian Manor surrounded by sprawling Victorian walled gardens, there’s even an enchanted glen and secret fairy garden for the little ones!
