The “Beast from the East” is gone but not forgotten!
As the entire country shut down due to the harsh weather last week, many couples found their plans for the perfect wedding day were in jeopardy…
Sandra and Shane Ryan from Tullamore thought their big day at the Annebrook House Hotel in Mullingar couldn’t go ahead as their celebrant was snowed in. As “Emma & the Beast” descended upon the country a plan had to be quickly put in place for this wonderful couples dream day to go ahead. Nothing was going to stop the happy couple from tying the knot, and their family, close friend and Annebrook House Hotel pulled out the stops to ensure that their day was a success.
Photos were captured by Sibel and David from Masters of Photography who travelled to the hotel a day ahead of schedule to ensure they could capture the day. Celebrant Hugh Gormley was transported by a tractor. Proprietor, Berty Dunne collected Sandra’s hairdresser, Aoife Carey, who did her utmost to make sure that the bridal party’s hairstyles were perfect on the day. Berty also made a 45-minute trek to collect the hotel’s wedding coordinator Ciara Slammon. Together with their team, they exceeded the couple’s expectations….and so begins their “happy ever after”!
Storm Emma was no match for this crowd! Take a look at Sandra and Shane’s miracle wedding day that overcame all the odds.
Special thanks to the team at Annebrook House Hotel in Mullingar for sharing this one-of-a-kind wedding story and images by Sibel & David from Masters of Photography.
