Wedding Forum At The Shelbourne Hotel

This year’s much-anticipated and exclusive Shelbourne Hotel Wedding Forum takes place on Thursday 21st February, from 6.30 to 9 p.m. The hotel’s luxurious Adams Suite with its spectacular views of St Stephen’s Green, its own private bar, silk wall coverings, ornate ceilings and sparkling chandeliers – is itself a stunning background for chic, intimate weddings.

Beginning with drinks and canapés to the gorgeous tones of live harp music, the evening will involve the considerable expertise of some of the country’s most interesting and respected experts in their field, as well as some of the most stunning bridal fashion creations available anywhere, with the added glamour and experience brought by the compère on the evening, TV3’s Sybil Mulcahy. Sybil will introduce each member of the expert team to the stage, as well as giving an overview of the evening’s proceedings, beginning with the contribution of The Shelbourne’s own Executive Chef Garry Hughes on food and wine tips and advice for the big day.

Makeup artists from Bobbi Brown – the beauty expert who believes that makeup is a way for a woman to look and feel like herself, only prettier and more confident – will suggest makeup tips to ensure that every wedding day face is flawless, and then guests can enjoy refreshments while admiring some of Myrtle Ivory’s bridal fashions, with models wearing some of the exquisite new collections from Amanda Wakeley, Stephanie Allin and David Fielden, available from one of Dublin’s most popular bridal boutiques.

After the interval, award winning travel writer Pol O’ Conghaile will provide fascinating honeymoon travel advice, followed by a short show of more exclusive and beautiful wedding gowns from Myrtle Ivory, and finally with Sybil Mulcahy posing questions from the floor to the relevant member of the expert panel.

With each expert providing advice that includes cost saving in their area, wedding trends and insider tips, this is an unmissable opportunity to indulge in an evening of invaluable information, demonstrations and fascination, with a seamless blend of practical advice from experts and to-die-for dream dresses.

Places at The Shelbourne Hotel Wedding forum are strictly limited to 80, and only by invitation, so to request an invitation please email rhi.dubbr.sales@renaissancehotels.com
