The who’s who of the wedding industry is going to Athlone on Sunday 24th June to share all their secrets for the perfect wedding at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
With TV3’s Lorraine Keane hosting the event in the stylish waterfront hotel overlooking Athlone Marina, brides-to-be will be treated to an afternoon hearing all the ways that they can ensure their big day is all they imagine it to be.
Brides and grooms-to-be and their guests will be welcomed with drinks in the stylish surrounds of the hotel’s Marina Suite. Later in the day, delicious mini samples of the delectable food you could have at your wedding, specially prepared by Radisson Blu Athlone’s Head Chef Philip O’Reilly who has 17 years’ experience creating exceptional wedding food will be served. The tasty samples will include; Chicken and smoked duck terrine, Tomato and smoked Bacon Soup with roast lemon & fresh basil, Pan-Seared Sea Bass with wild mushroom sauce, and delicious sweet treats.
Makeup guru Ken Boylan, esteemed celebrity makeup artist to the stars (including Pamela Flood, Grainne Seoige, Victoria Smurfit, Lorraine Keane, Amy Huberman, Miriam O’Callaghan, Mischa Barton and Minnie Driver!) discusses and demonstrates the secrets to an impeccable face on the big day using products from his brand new makeup range.
Travel writer Fionn Davenport, frequent radio and TV contributor, and possibly one of Ireland’s best-travelled men, gives valuable insights into exotic and interesting locations for that once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon.
Multi award-winning photographer Owen O’Connor will tell you the poses that work to help you look your best and the style of photography that will suit your special day as well as having answers to all those tricky obstacles that can crop up when you’re looking for that ideal photogenic location.
