No matter the length or texture of your hair, styling your wedding hair is pretty much the topic constantly in the back of every bride’s mind. For me, having long hair can mean there’s a little too much choice (I know, everyone with short hair says the opposite!) and more than often, a simple embellishment with a bow our clip can do just the trick.
We are in love with larger than life hair accessories and even though the wedding dress is the main act in the show, that doesn’t mean hair should be left out. If you’ve ever seen Joan Rivers on Fashion Police (when she’s not making a joke a celebrities expense) you’ll always notice that she comments on the whole outfit, not just the dress. A floral headpiece is just perfect if you want a fresh look but don’t want to deal with a cumbersome veil.
If you’re lucky to have locks in great condition, whether it has a soft wave to it or its glossy straight, it can only take the smallest embellishment to complete your look.
Long Hair Care Tips
- Never rub your hair when towel drying. Instead, press a towel against the top of your hair and push it slowly towards the tips of your hair. If possible, let your hair dry as naturally as possible.
- Never point a hairdryer upwards when drying hair as it can lead to breakage. Use cool settings as often as possible.
- Never use elastic bands to secure hair unless they have fabric covering them.
