Upon putting together yesterday’s list of Top 10 Wedding Cake Alternatives I began to crave sweet treats and just knew I had to continue this theme into a wedding mood board! There is something so pretty about cakes, cookies, candy and the likes! If you are anything like me (I don’t think I could have a sweeter tooth in my body!) this mood board will look as tasty to you!
I can’t remember when my love for all things sugary and sweet came about. But I have many memories of weekends spent with my granny in her kitchen baking buns and cakes. Licking the spoon at the end was of course all part of the process! Apple crumble was the first dessert she thought me to bake on my own and I would return home to the rest of the family and treat them to my creation every so often!
Dessert tables and different types of buffets are a major trend in weddings at the moment. I’ll be having my entire wedding reception meal consisting of desserts at my own wedding if I have my way! I best make a visit to the dentist before all my teeth really do fall out.!
