The Millhouse is a beautiful boutique Hotel on the banks of the River Boyne . Specializing in personally designed weddings. A combination of old world charm and contemporary design creates a very different luxury wedding venue.

From a picnic by the river to a Barbeque in the orchard, to a beautiful three course dinner, The Millhouse has an extensive menu selection to suit both your style and budget . We are obsessed with interesting delicious food. The Millhouse team take great pride in their cooking and are constantly updating and improving our menus.

Our wedding co- ordinators are available every weekend for viewings and love to help you personally tailor your special day. Imagine a beautiful candlelit pathway through the orchard with fairy lights twinkling in the breeze leading to the magnificent Grand Pavilion on the front lawn. A cascading waterfall of champagne under the apple trees on a summers day. Iced seafood platters with a string quartet. No party too beautiful, lavish or simple. We love to help you create your perfect day.

Our Pavilion can host up to 120 people and can be added too for up to 180 people. It lies in a beautiful sun-trapped courtyard overlooking the orchard and river. The entire front opens up for sunny summer days. Larger weddings of up to 300 people can be catered for with a marquee or beautiful Indian tent on the front lawn beside the river.

We are fully licensed by the HSE to hold official wedding ceremonies . We also love to host blessings or other ceremonies in the orchard or front lawn so your entire wedding day may be spent in the peaceful idyllic surroundings of The Millhouse.

finish and all of our guests commented on how great it was. The food tasting gave us a chance to taste the food and wine and it was just delicious and even nicer again on the day. Above all, the staff are just fantastic and so friendly. Valerie, amongst others, was an absolute pleasure to deal with, we didn't worry about a single thing all day because we knew we were in good hands. They are all absolute professionals and just felt so at ease. The photo opportunities are endless and the grounds are stunning. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bridal suite (3 to choose from) was beautiful. All of our guests told us how fantastic the day was, they all enjoyed it and had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We only saw this one venue and were absolutely sold on it from day one. I would absolutely recommend visiting The Millhouse for a viewing, you will truly be blown away.

They went above and beyond our expectations. Everything ran incredibly smooth, they gave us so much wonderful advice and made our day as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Think no further of booking this venue, you couldn't be in safer hands.

The Millhouse is stunning and has everything we wanted and even more: character, space and style. It was love at the first sight! We had our wedding ceremony in the Old Mill, our dinner and party in the spacious Pavillion and because we were very lucky with the weather, we enjoyed the wonderful garden all day. And with 40 kids at the wedding, the little playground in the camping area was a real plus! We wanted a full vegetarian wedding, and the team was very accomodating. Not only the dinner was amazing, but the late snack and the breakfast the day after was great too. We loved all the food, and have received only good feedback from our guests about it. We want to thank again all the staff, you were all really kind and professional, especially the barman on site. And a special thank to Lorraine and Celine for making everything they could for us to only have to relax and enjoy, which we did! They guided us from the first contact, the tasting menu, the decoration drop off, to the day and after with only kindness and smiles which added to the good atmosphere on the day! We felt confident and in good hands but also very free to have the wedding we wanted. A wedding is always a milestone in life, but having it in the Millhouse was a dream come true. We will cherish this day forever and we are so very grateful to the Millhouse team for that!
