Buying a Wedding Dress? Check These First!

Buying a wedding dress is a big commitment. Although you may only wear it once, it is an investment; even if you’re not a “dressy” person. If you are about to make the step to wedding dress, you need to ask yourself these questions!

Can I move in it?

This is a big one: your comfort is an integral part of the day. Can you move around in it? This is one of the most important aspects of luxury is comfort. You may have a gorgeous couture gown, but if you can’t dance in it, it won’t be worth it!

Does it Flatter my Shape?

Another question you need ask is if it flatters your body shape. Hourglass, pear, rectangle, apple are all common shapes and sizes and usually a bridal boutique shop assistant will know what works on you even before you do! This is why it’s important to try something on before making a definite decision.

Do I feel like “me” in it?

Once you do try on your dress, whether or not you would have chosen it for yourself is irrelevant. Now it is time to ask the all important question; “is it me?” Would this be something you would wear? Is it your style? Do you feel like you but a fancier version? If so, then you may be on to a winner!
