We have recently added lots of new wedding suppliers to the site here at WeddingDates.ie and one that I’d like to talk about today is church singers and church music. A lot of focus is put on music for the wedding reception, but we must not forget that the church music can add greatly to the big day.
You may wish to choose a solo wedding soprano, singing a few choice hymns and a song that is meaningful to you, or you may wish to go with a group with musical accompaniment. Either way the addition of some form of church music for your wedding ceremony is a must and should make for a great start to your big day.
Most groups and performers are very flexible and are happy to work with you to suit your needs. Everyone has some song or piece of music that they hold dear and it is natural that they would like to hear it as they walk down the aisle so most church singers and musicians are used to receiving specific requests. You never know, they might already have it prepared!
