Wedding Planning: Getting Back To Your Wedding Plans

Let’s admit it… this was the longest January ever! Cozy fires, quiet weekends and battening down the hatches were all part of the post Christmas schedule. New Year’s resolutions have been made and hopefully we are all sticking to them…. But I won’t tell anybody if you are not!

Now its time to get back to your wedding planning and get organized again!

  • Have you made appointments that you need to confirm or reschedule them? It may be no harm to check!
  • Are you up to date with your payments and wedding supplier deposits?
  • Your wedding dress… have you chosen your dress? Do you need to check on delivery? Will your dress require alterations? Have you somebody in mind to do this?
  • Your hen party……how are plans coming along? Are your bridesmaids looking after everything for you? www.henparty.ie may be worth a look if you need tips!
  • Have you prepared your paperwork and contacted the relevant bodies with your intention to marry? This takes time and organization so don’t leave it to the last minute.
  • Check your wedding planner to see if you are on schedule. If you are 6 months from your wedding date flowers, décor, your accessories and the finer details need to be considered.
  • Fine tune your guest list and begin to gather your addresses.
  • Are there wedding fairs coming up that you would like to attend. Keep an eye out on weddingdates.ie for all the latest events happening all over the country.

The more organized you are the less stressful wedding planning can be!
