Pack away the wedding brollies because Ireland’s most famous postman has predicted this August to be a scorcher!
We almost fell off our seats when we heard that amateur forecaster Michael Gallagher told the Irish Mirror the good news. And we bet all you brides-to-be getting married next month will be jumping for joy!
Gallagher claims better weather will hit our shores because a new moon falls on Friday. But it will take a turn for the worst in September when the new moon falls on a Sunday.
Planning your big day is stressful enough and that’s without the threat of Ireland’s temper-mental weather hanging over you. So maybe it’s best to still let your mammy put a Child of Prague statue out in the garden – just in case like. We’ll keep our fingers and toes crossed for all you August couples.
But if we were celebrating our wedding next month we would be feeling pretty pleased right now…
