Prepare to lose it over all the gilded gorgeousness from the 2018 Met Gala!!!
When I woke up this morning and came across some pics from this weekend’s Met Gala, the fashion event of the year for the biggest names in Hollywood and industry creatives, I knew I had to see more! The well-known fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is the absolute climax of style during the year where there are no limits to creativity or out-of-the-box ensembles. The gala also marks the grand opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibition: “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” set to open on May 10th.
Heavenly bodies indeed! There were plenty of jaw-dropping gowns and gown positively dripping in gold to match the theme of this year’s exhibition. This year, the stars truly outdid themselves…
