After meeting at Trinity College Dublin, sweethearts Jennifer and Phil tied the knot at the beautiful Glenview Hotel & Leisure Club on June 1st 2014.
The couple’s 18-month journey up the aisle began with an intimate proposal. After treating Jennifer at one of her favourite restaurants, Phil popped the question underneath the stars to complete their fairy tale evening.
Their unique Celtic ribbon tying ceremony held in the majestic gardens of the County Wicklow hotel was a romantic affair that proved to be the highlight of the day.
Choosing The Glenview Hotel as their wedding venue came easy for the pair who fell in love with the “amazing gardens, scenery and friendly staff”.
The Glenview Hotel stood out from other venues because of “their attention to detail, their helpfulness and its unique location”.
“Our wedding menu was amazing!” We had:
Starter
Vol au Vent of Chicken or Caesar Salad
Main
Wicklow Lamb or Sea Bass
Dessert
Trio of Desserts
Featuring a summer colour scheme of raspberry and cream, the theme was completed with stunning floral centrepieces and lanterns for their outdoor nuptials.
Luck was on blushing bride Jennifer’s side in the search for her special dress. She found ‘the one’ on her third shopping attempt at The Town Bride in Powerscourt Centre.
The romantic sweetheart neckline, full skirt with lace scallop detail and bolero seduced the bride and she “still loves it now”.
Jennifer’s advice for future brides-to-be is to “savour every minute of the planning, the time flies and it will be the quickest of your life. Dance the night away and remember it forever”.
