Had to give a mention to the girls in www.weddingrunner.com who were on the Dragon’s Den on RTE last week. They did very well answering the dragons questions and while they didn’t manage to secure investment in their innovative new product, they certainly came across very well on the show.
The concept behind the business is an individual, customized carpet running the length of the aisle for the bride’s walk down the aisle. In their own words: “Each rug is custom made to match a bride & grooms wedding theme, or colours. The bride & groom’s name or initial are hand woven into the rug thus creating a unique entrance”
