‘Say I Do Bridal’ are holding an event on the 22nd of April in their Co. Cork shop. We caught up with Lynda to find out more about this fancy soiree…
It must be great to see all your preparations for the event coming together. What is the hardest part of the planning one of these events?
“The hardest thing about planning these events is trying to find a time and date that will suit all our brides. We tend to worry about the numbers that we expect to show up on the night, but as this is invite only, we have a good idea before and it’s looking good!”
You must be really looking forward to meeting all the beautiful brides and helping to make their dreams come true?
“We always get excited to meet new brides, as its such a fun experience to help find the perfect gown. We meet brides on many occasions, from the when she first starts searching for the dress, to when she picks it up before her big day. It is a very exciting time and it is very one to one here say ‘Say I Do’ and we really love to go the extra mile for our brides!”
What is your favourite thing about your job?
“My favorite thing about our job is when a bride finds ‘the one’ and she is so happy and all her wedding party are excited. It’s such a great feeling to be apart of such a special moment.”
If you had words of advice for couples attending events like this what would they be?
“Be open minded when looking for the perfect dress. Give yourself as many options as possible, by trying on lots of different styles and just have fun and don’t get too stressed about it.”
Your event does look amazing! What are you most excited to show couples on the day?
“We are especially excited to showcase our new 2016 amazing collections by Pronovias , Ellis, Rembo, Paloma Blanca and Jesus Peiro. We will also be joined by the wonderfully talented and creative hair and makeup genius UpStyle Junkie, who will be here to give advice on all the hair and makeup styles for 2015/16. The wonderful Cormac Lally from Bespoke speeches will be playing music from his gramophone and will also be on hand to talk to brides and give them advice. Plus, the amazing Gerard Kearney – The Magician has just confirmed that he will also join us too!”
