Hollyoaks actress Sophie Austin looked smitten as she wed her long-term boyfriend Graeme Rooney last weekend. The stunning soap star returned to her childhood village of Takeley in Essex to say I do to her “love and best friend”. Sophie, 31, plays Lindsey Butterfield in the Channel 4 show. The character isn’t afraid of creating drama in the popular soap – even sleeping with her husband’s brother and being involved in the murder of Dr. Browning.

She gushed about their special day on social media saying “it was the most amazing day of my life” and thanked friends and family for their well wishes. The newly-weds are expected to jet off on honeymoon at the end of August after her current storyline comes to an end.
