Getting married and planning a wedding is a lovely rite of passage for any couple to go through. Weddings are a symbol of your union and future together but often wedding planning clichés can get caught up in this.
It’s The Bride’s Day
The day belongs to you and the sole purpose is to make sure you have the perfect day… Wrong! You may think it but if you have ever actually said these words out loud, you would probably feel like a douche. While no bride loves receiving advice that isn’t warranted by their bridal party, it’s important to understand that your bridal party mean the best for you. As well as this, the day is really about you as a couple starting a new life together.
The Bride Will Never Look More Stunning Than on Her Wedding Say
Between the gorgeous dress, your full professional hair and make-up and of course accessories, there is no doubt that you will look amazing. But there is quite a bit of pressure to conform to the ‘perfect look’. There’s nothing wrong with looking your best, but don’t let what you think other’s may say creep into your head. The truth is that you could look your most stunning in a summer’s day dress.
The Bride Should Have Her Dad Walk Her Down The Aisle… Or it’s not really a wedding
A lovely wedding tradition but just because you don’t conform to every wedding tradition, it doesn’t make your day any less legitimate. If you’re not a fan of a tradition decide between yourselves as a couple which ones you would prefer to omit… Like the garter toss. Anyone else think that’s a little weird?
