Help with the Hair

Bless me Blogging-Gods, for I have sinned – its been a few days since I have written a post here, and its just coz I have been busy, out on the road visiting hotels and getting more venues signed up to WeddingDates.ie!

Anyway, after speaking to some brides-to-be recently, I found out that many of them want help/suggestions for wedding hairstyles.

Now, I’m not a hairdresser but I think the number 1 thing is to choose a style that suits the shape of your face and maybe don’t do anything too dramatically different from your normal look – ie. don’t dye your hair the day before the wedding or chop off all your locks!!  Most hairdressers suggest that you get a hair trial done in advance of the big day but some people who are getting married away from where they live, might not have that luxury and might just meet the hair dresser on the morning of the wedding.  So try a few out yourself at home, or with friends and bring pictures with you to the salon to give them a good idea of what is in your head.

There are loads of video tutorials on YouTube to get some good ideas…  Here’s the classic bridal up-do.
