Location and landscape
Located in a peaceful countryside setting a short distance from the Meath coast and set amidst tranquil landscaped gardens, the hotel’s warm service, beautiful surroundings and understated splendour, make it a great wedding venue choice for East Meath and North County Dublin. Close to Drogheda and just 20 minutes from Dublin Airport, it’s an ideal setting for an intimate affair or larger wedding.
With just one wedding per day, the surrounding countryside and gorgeous gardens set you up with a sense of privacy and intimacy, and provide the perfect backdrop to capture precious memories of your special day. Well set up for Civil Ceremonies, the Eilis Suite can host up to 170 guests, but if you’re lucky enough to have secured a summer date, perhaps a ceremony outside would be just the thing. The Ballroom was completely renovated in 2022 and the layout lends itself to giving larger gatherings a sense of intimacy yet its adaptable for smaller numbers.
A pre dinner drinks reception can be provided outside in the warm Summer months. The hotel’s dedicated wedding planner will be on hand to help you with all the preparations and any of the paperwork along the way.
Mouth-watering food
The reputation for excellent food is all down to Head Chef, Angelo, and his team. They are experts at producing fabulous food from your mouth-watering canapés at your drinks reception, to the sumptuous roasts of your banquet meal. The kitchen can cater for relaxing buffets or decadent five course meals, always using only the best locally sourced ingredients – the choice is yours.
There is an exquisite wine list and fully licensed bar to cater all your drinks including cocktails. You can expect to have choice of table settings, centrepieces, chair covers and floral arrangements, and the team will be happy to talk you through it all.

Four Poster Luxury
The four-poster bed in the beautiful Mary Suite provides the ultimate luxury for you to enjoy a lazy champagne breakfast together on your first morning as a married couple. The suite has everything you will need with a walk-in wardrobe and a delightful jacuzzi bath.
There are 16 guest bedrooms, all easily accessible on ground level. Each bedroom was completely refurbished in 2023 and has its own unique boutique-style identity. Guests are guaranteed a luxurious comfortable stay at fantastic discounted overnight rates. And, with full Irish breakfast, complimentary car parking, free WIFI, flat screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities, what’s not to love? Family bedrooms are also available.
